Councilman Ron Nirenberg Tours Beckmann Quarry

On March 1, Martin Marietta hosted a tour of the Beckmann Quarry for District 8 Councilman Ron Nirenberg and members of his staff. Regional Vice president of Martin Marietta – Central Texas Aggregates Chance Allen, pictured on right, discussed the daily operations and future mining plans of the Beckmann Quarry. Martin Marietta welcomes groups such as schools, civic organizations and neighborhood associations to learn more about operations and the uses of aggregates produced at the quarry.
