Blattman Elementary School Visits the Quarry

Children from Blattman Elementary School visited the Beckmann Quarry recently for a tour. The tour walked kids through the facility from start to finish and taught them how geology works and ultimately creates aggregates that are sold.

During this tour, Martin Marietta deployed a blast to show children how mining works, how safety is of the utmost importance and that geology can be a fun career.
