Charity Golf Tournament Donates More Than $73K to the San Antonio Food Bank

Martin Marietta continues to embrace and give back to the surrounding San Antonio community through its annual events and charitable donations. This year, Martin Marietta held its 10^th annual Charity Golf Tournament to raise money for local nonprofit organizations.

Participants in this year’s 10^th annual Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $78,000 in donations — the largest amount yet.

The San Antonio Food Bank was one of five recipients of donations from the tournament. Every week, the San Antonio Food Bank feeds 58,000 local residents with donated food that is stored in their 200,000 square-foot warehouse. At the Food Bank, a simple $1 donation can provide seven meals to individuals in need.
